Wheelchair Rugby Australia welcomes Degnan as major sponsor of the Wheelchair Rugby National Championship for the next two years
Wheelchair Rugby Australia (WRA) is proud to welcome Degnan as major sponsor of the Wheelchair Rugby National Championship for 2022 and 2023. Degnan are recognised as one of Australia’s leading construction companies for infrastructure through championing people, innovation, planning, and trust.
This announcement comes as a major boost to wheelchair rugby in Australia, providing a significant commitment to the growth and development of the both the National Championship and the sport as a whole. The 2021 National Championship was a massive success, and Degnan’s commitment to contribute to the event’s growth with a two-year agreement will further generate athlete pathways, competition innovation and allow wheelchair rugby can continue to grow its profile.

The Wheelchair Rugby National Championship will be held in the Gold Coast in 2022 and 2023. The 2022 Wheelchair Rugby National Championship will take place over three days commencing on Friday, 24 June 2022, with the Bronze and Gold Medal matches to take place on Sunday, 26 June 2022.
