Quentin Fleischfresser announced as new Wheelchair Rugby Referee Coordinator
Disability Sports Australia and the Wheelchair Rugby Executive Committee are delighted to announce the appointment of Quentin Fleischfresser, to the role of Wheelchair Rugby Referee Coordinator.
Quentin will be responsible for working with the Wheelchair Rugby Coordinator & the Wheelchair Rugby Executive Committee, supporting and coordinating the provision of referee / official services to our competitions, and the development of wheelchair rugby referees in Australia.
The Wheelchair Rugby Referee Coordinator will work closely with senior wheelchair rugby referees and officials, in continuing the development of referee pathways in Australia, so that we can bring the next generation of referees /officials to support our ever growing game.
Quentin brings a wealth of experience in the coordination of referee development programs gained while performing such roles for over 12 years with the SA Rugby Union Referees Association and SA Rugby. In this time, Quentin had various responsibilities which included; referee coordination, referee coaching and administration. Quentin looks forward to using these skills to provide clear pathways for those that wish to fulfil this greatly rewarding and vital service to our game.
