Friday saw the opening rounds of the three-day 2023 Santos Wheelchair Rugby National Championships at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre at Carrara on the Gold Coast. Eight teams from Australia and New Zealand will contest the Division 1 and 2 National Championships between Friday 2 June and the Sunday 4 June gold medal matches.
